X-PROJECT - AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG

PHASE 1




This is the IC Phase 1 journal for Sarah Vale aka Network. This journal is no longer active and this version of Network has been retired permanently. For more details, check out the Wiki entry.


Sarah is available for applications as a Phase 2 character.


X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. There's a number of settings for a range of play, whatever your preference, and while we accept new characters we strongly encourage people to adopt one of our orphans.

This gets its own post because it's that important. Because tomorrow is May 4th, and you know what that means.

Star Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaars! MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU. Honestly, it should be a national holiday or something.

The plan is to watch all six movies if I can, starting early in the morning. Anyone who would like to join me in doing the same, or just parts of the same, is more than welcome. :D

This is why I'm so so grateful my abilities let me text without having to actually type, because omg. Some of these are just... I, like, died of embarrassment on behalf of some of these people as I read their texts. And then I totally laughed my butt off, because what the eff, some of them were just HORRIBLE.

In other news, this will be my first term of university. Gulp.

It feels weird to have it be early September and to not be going back to school soon. I mean, I could work more this fall I suppose, if they'll have me, but it's strange not having any classes to prepare for or anything. I can use the break after everything that's happened but yeah, weeeeeird.

I should start applying now for somewhere after Christmas though, get that going at least, hmm. Decisions, decisions.

I had a very weird dream last night. Layla, Maddie, and I were the Powerpuff Girls, and not like we had the same abilities or something like that but we were them. Like, cartoons come to life. It was weird but kinda cool too, even though in reality I'm more like Bubbles, and Layla's more like Buttercup, and Maddie's... more like Buttercup too, I guess, huh. No real Blossom between the three of us. The hair colors match up though, I guess?

Anyway, this is probably a sign that I should get out more now that I'm feeling a bit better, right? >.>

Well, I guess you could say I'll never forget my 18th birthday, or at least the events just before it anyway. Hard to be in the mood to party, or to do anything really, but at least I'm alive and back home so I guess that counts for something.

I'm also glad everyone else is back and I really hope that I, well. I don't even remember what happened but if I hurt anyone, if I did anything to anyone, I just... nothing I can do will change that, I just hope that no one hates me forever. For awhile, yeah, I probably deserve that, but just not forever would be a good birthday present I think.

[edit] You guys, someone sent me a code for the newest Humble Bundle, with a ton of cool games! That's so awesome, thank you so much whoever you are! :D

And and and Maddie gave me a dozen donuts too, omg, so much sugar. I may have had one or three since I first typed this entry. Thank you Maddie~! ♥

So, despite being the child of two very politically active people, I'm not usually that big into politics. That being said, the whole Genoshan situation is really relevant to our interests and, well, there's a protest set for Friday. It might be interesting to check it out, if people are so inclined, I know I wouldn't mind learning more about it and supporting the cause, even if it's only by holding a sign or something.

Is anyone else interested in going? Wow, I can't believe I'm even talking about this, I bet my parents will be so proud. :)
